Texas finished the last 4 years in recruiting as follows:

2009-7th
2010-3rd
2011-3rd
2012-1st

And there's some on here that can't understand why we were so overmatched.

There is obviously some variables but if you recruit that well year after year you are going to be pretty d*** good

Basically played Bama an emphasis on offense.

Bama is Texas with an emphasis on defense.

Nit trying to fan but don't think Texas could stay in the game with bama. Texas always has a top five class and they still went 5-7 two years ago. Texas is good but they aren't as good as we made them look. I think our offense could have hung at least 50 on our defense last night.

I agree with the last sentence, but we could have hung 50 on TX if we could have stopped TX with our defense 40% of the time, even without the two TDs that were called back.
