Complaining about not slamming the door on our opponents this season! When we have a couple of years under coach freeze, then *beep* and moan IF we are still not finishing! Who remembers the HUMILIATION of 52-3??? if we were a better team we win tonight, but we're NOT THERE YET! do some of you even remember the listlessness, the lack of heart, that we had last year? Sure it hurts to lose three games this year that we could have won, but look how far these guys have come already IF the previous HC and admin had not gutted our program, we win today! Who of you, before the game today, thought we could hang 35 on LSU? anyone? I did not.

This program has come a long way. Focus on the future, rather than wringing your hands over the fact that this team has not exceeded your expectations ENOUGH! Jeezuz h, I think some of y'all really expected to compete for the west or something. That is what you act like. We're giving all the elite programs as much as they can handle. All we're lacking is depth, and that is on its way. I am dam proud of this team, dam proud. I'm proud to be part of the Rebel Family!

I love my Rebels. No matter how many 4th quarter leads we squander. But, I'm about all out of free passes. You know, it's OK to adjust expectations. At the beginning, I thought we could win 5-7 depending on other teams and our teams 'want to'. It's also OK to be upset now that we've squandered four 4th quarter leads( I count Arkansas even though we squeaked it out). As bad as some thought we'd be, we could be 8-3 right now. So forgive me for being a little upset knowing that while we sit at 5-6.

Winning and finishing is something you have to learn how to do. I believe its a mindset. We are doing everything else right. And we will learn how to finish. Our boys are good not great. Effort makes up for their short comings. We will fill the roster with talent and winners. And we will learn how to be finishers. We take this on the chin and look for a W next Saturday. I don't believe in giving free passes but it is what it is. Ppl want tobe rejoice in the good and moan when things slip away. We made mental errors and we were worn down. Guess what? We played all out the whole game and we wore down. We are thin. You think freeze or bo lost it? Guess what? Freeze and bo were the reason we were even in it. Let's take our lumps and get better. Take the bad with the good and have perspective.

If you go back and look at all of our preseason posts, you will hardly find anyone that projected that we would win more then 5 games this season. However, expectations change. We haven't lost 3 games in the final moments because we were "undersized" and "gassed." We lost these 3 games because our db didn't jump at the right moment to knock down Manziels pass on 4th down, we settled for fieldgoals instead of touchdowns against vandy, and we blew outside containment against lsu's punt returner. That is why we have lost 3 games in the final moments. As for expectations, I am very proud of our guys but what you seem to not understand is expectations change according to their situation. Since we started the season 5-3, expectations changed. If we fail to get this final win to go to a bowl game, we have failed to meet the changed expectations that this team brought upon itself by starting the season 5-3.

I understand some frustrations. What I don't believe that most understand is that every team that we have lost to, w/ 1 exception, has 8+ wins. The only exception has 7.

Please tell me that this team isn't meeting or exceeding expectations against extremely difficult competition?

I'm sure no-one on this site truly thought that we would win this game before it started. We played them HARD the whole game, had some questionable calls go against us, and almost beat LSUX at their home. They played and coached a great game. GIVE THE MAN SOME TIME!!!!

You know what, our sales goals for the company I work for are set annually, by quarter. If we had a salesperson that was exceeding their goals by a substantial amount, going by your "logic", we would call them in one at and say "bob, you're doing great, so we have decided to increase your sales goal in order for you to make your bonus"! Do you know what would happen if we did that? All of our good people would leave!!' and rightfully so, because we would be making it impossible for them to make their goals! Instead, if we beat our goal for a quarter, we move on to the next quarter and try to exceed the expectations that were set for that quarter. We do NOT increase the goals midstream. I hope you are not getting a business degree, b/c if you are, you are going to have turnover out the *beep*! You build real success slowly and methodically. No shortcuts.

Didn't expect anything more at of u than this, typical nellie response. Doesn't matter how much improved we are. Doesn't matter how short handed we are. Doesn't matter how the future looks. I'm beginning to think u either don't know much about football and just love to whine, or u have some kind of agenda. Or maybe both are true. Either way just typical of u.

Rickochet: I think Scott meant that Freeze coached a great game. Les Miles was completely shocked that we almost won, probably should have won that game. A vision of things to come with Freeze at the Ole Miss helm.

Yep. That's two coaches now that lewindha doesn't have his head on straight about. Apparently doesn't understand what a great job Freeze has done and will do; and continues to defend Mike Bianco in baseball.
