I say we realistically have to at the very least go 6-1, and we can't lose to anyone except for maybe bama. Even if we do go 6-1 I still think we have to win at least one in the sec tournament.

We should go 7-0 but the 3 road games worry me even though they are 3 of the 5 worst SEC teams. I say 6-1 with a loss on the road. Then 1-1 in the SEC tournament which leaves us as 25-8 and a bid to the dance.

Hopefully, we lose every single one so we can get rid of AK. Our defense absolutely sucks every game.

I personally believe that we may have to win them all.

I agree with Chuck. And I am conflicted about us winning them all, if it happens. Even if we get a bid, I have serious doubts about AK. This is the sort of dilemma a good sports fan hates. Would the program be better off if we lost a couple of games and AK was shown the door? It's painful to want one of your teams to lose--just doesn't feel good at all. When the Cincinnati Cab Incident occurred, I remember thinking that a head coach representing Ole Miss just shouldn't get into a situation like that. I hate this entire situation for the players, regardless.

The only time I have ever actually thought a loss was a good thing was Orgeron's last game, because I knew that one probably sealed his fate.

Can't pull for us to lose, just can't. If I could, there were some games I knew we wouldn't cover the spread, and was money to be made. But no way I could bet on us to lose and go through with it. Just can't.

I couldn't either... even with Orgeron that thought was after the fact.

As I said, pulling for one of your teams to lose doesn't feel good at all. I won't do so, but I will still have the same doubts about AK as a coach.

Alabam is playing well right now while we are struggling. If Alabam beats OM they will probably get the bid OM was going to get. I think OM has put itself outside the bubble and needs to finish a lot stronger than it appears it can. Reality was harsh when it finally set in. Losing four out of the last five isn't going to help come tournament time especially since those were tournament teams and OM wasn't that competitive in the majority of those games.

Given that our wins and losses are in the hands of the young men on the team.....who knows what to expect......

I agree that we must win all the remaining games..but realistically I think we will win 3-4 of the last 7..

I NEVER will hope we lose. Don't see how a real rebel could.

Could we all agree that if we found a way to lose at stank, A.K. should not be allowed to ride the bus back to Oxford?
