If we are going to play with the big boys, we need all of the revenue we can get.

Those who really really like to park on campus can buy a permit and be better off.

so what does this statement mean

"Parking based on giving to the football priority ticket fund. Subject to availability"

Does this mean that spaces would not be assigned and that you could give $ and not get a spot??

Also another thought in passing....Starkvegas has been charging to park for years...
Even a bad day as a Rebel is better than a good day with the dawgs!!!!

"In addition, parking on sidewalks will be prohibited to better ensure safety and to fulfill requirements recently mandated for ADA parking."

now this will be interesting...

"For those unable to obtain one of the approximately 6,000 campus parking passes, more shuttles with greater convenience will be available from locations off campus
The university is working with the City of Oxford to finalize the new shuttle service plan, and those details will be announced in the coming months."

BEtter pay up early or get left out.... :(

So assuming that the 6,000 parking places will be snapped up by rebel fans, does this mean that all visiting fans will have NO where to park on campus....

how nice is this????

Guess you'll have to defer to the baseball parking prices. We do play Bama immediately after the spring game.

I would suggest at the end of fraternity row at the mall...supposedly there is a shuttle pickup there that will drop you off at the stadium and take you back!...but I don't know if anyone actually knows... getting to the stadium is going to be difficult within 2 hrs of kickoff I imagine.

I always park at the Middle School at the corner of MLK and Washington and then walk to campus.

That's exactly what it means! Several years ago I had a parking pass to park on All American Drive, but if I wasn't REALLY early, I was SOL!

We will be coming for the Tennessee game...yes, I am a Volunteer, but I love Ole Miss and have attended two games there. The Grove is awesome. This time we are bringing our adult daughter. She has never been to an Ole Miss home game, and I want her to really experience the Grove atmosphere. She has heard me talk about the Grove and the beauty of Ole Miss so much that I want to be sure she has the best possible experience. The last time the Alumni tent "took us in"; all we did was ask for directions and Wow! [The first half UT won, the second half Ole Miss won (and won the game), and before, during, and after the game everyone was so nice to us.] Everyone was so wonderful. Can any one give me advice? I have tickets and a room in Albany, but anything about parking, where to walk, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks!
