Freeze should've gone for the FG's, poor coaching decisions in my opinion. Also, it was pretty clear Siskey was stealing our plays and bama was waiting on us every time. Saban was smart hiring Siskey. Check out the link to see what I'm talking about. But I blame that on Freeze also. He knew Siskey was with bama now, and should've prepared for it. And one last thing, Bo, if u are gonna run your mouth, BACK IT UP. But in my opinion, just KEEP YOUR BIG MOUTH SHUT. Now for the video on Siskey.

He should hold Bo out for the first drive against Auburn for going all Henderson. Don't think it changed anything in the game but just plain stupid...and not Ole Miss!

Now Bo is saying he was taken out of context.. He needs to man up and say something like, I have to get better.. I wrote a check that I couldn't cash... Other side of the coin, aj mccarron was asked about Ole Miss d, he says they are unbelievable.. Football players all over the field.. Obviously he overhyped us, but that's what you do... Back to back national champs, and our d is unbelievable?? Take notes Bo....Rebchuck18 wrote:He should hold Bo out for the first drive against Auburn for going all Henderson. AT the end of the 2nd quarter, the Ole Miss radio guys were waiting on CHF to finish talking to the head referee before coming over to talk to them.....Anyone know if Siskey was the subject or what was CHF discussing with the head ref?
Even a bad day as a Rebel is better than a good day with the dawgs!!!!

Freeze is on a learning curve as a big-time SEC head coach. but he will get there faster than most. Already a great recruiter and schemer, he may have overthought this one in not going for the field goals, thinking the only way to beat 'Bama was to score TD's. The way our D was playing, that might not have been necessary. Saban used every advantage he could against us, including hiring Siskey.
But none of this changes what Freeze is doing and will do at Ole Miss. A bump in the road, but I still expect us to have a great season.

Look, Freeze got schooled and humbled. Which means he will learn. This may be the best thing for him and this team. We got cocky beating an average at best Texas team and thought we could run the same stuff against Saban. But the upside is that we were still very much in this game even when Saban and Smart knew his next move. That is because of the improved defensive coaching and the increased talent level Freeze has brought in. I think a crucial point was the trick play where we got too cute with Treadwell throwing the pass. We were driving well and if we would have just continued and completed that drive who knows how the complexion would have changed. It is d*** near impossible to beat Saban, but the rest of the teams on our schedule, including LSU, are beatable. Because none of them have Saban or Smart. I am as encouraged today as I was after the Texas game. We can beat anybody else we play. Not saying we will, but we can.
I got tired of the silly announcers calling the interception a "freshman mistake". No, it was asking a WR to make a QB decision. It doesn't matter what grade the WR is in. He is not used to making QB decisions and cannot be judged by the same criteria as a trained QB when he is handed the ball and asked to decide whether to throw, run or throw it away.Rebchuck18 wrote:Look, Freeze got schooled and humbled. Re: Siskey.
Although the NCAA limits coaches on the field, teams like Bama have essentially unlimited resources to hire off-field staff to do exactly what Siskey did. I'm surprised by now that there isn't a cadre of disgruntled ex-assistant coaches hawking their know-how to the highest bidder. Perhaps athletic directors need to take a cue from the tech industry and include nondisclosure agreements in contracts. But to the point, Siskey's role Saturday night put Bama over the NCAA 9 Ccoach limit... Saban is amazing. He is also a world class cheat.

From another board.
Auburn thoughts on Bama/Ncaa......
bammer corruption top to bottom
Some food for thought. Take a look at a few (not all)very odd coincidences that have occurred over the last few years to the point of where we are today as it relates to D1 college football from the administration to enforcement to officiating from the SEC up to the top of the NCAA.
Mark Emmert- NCAA President- Hired saban at LSU, oversaw grade changing scandal there. Has placed saban on rules committees, etc.
Derrick Crawford- NCAA Director of Enforcement- bammer grad- investigates, or not
Mark Womack- SEC Executive Associate Commissioner- bammer grad (makes the schedules among other things. Thats right, bammer plays Kentucky not Georgia)
Steve Shaw- SEC Coordinator of Officials- bammer *** laude grad- nuff said
SEC Offices- still in bammerham (with a $1 or no cost lease)even after Steve Spurrier had the SEC Championship game moved to Atlanta to level the playing field.

Most of that is just jealousy from Auburn. But Bama is clearly the Golden Child of conference officials and there was subtle favoritism by officials, especially on marking the ball, but they also didn't call a clear pass interference on us. The more relevant question is whether we actually can believe Saban when he says Siskey had no contact with the coaching staff during the game. In my view that is laughable.
What about the face mask call that was reversed? Or the 12 men on the field call that was reversed? Flags were thrown, only to be picked back up. And then there's the Siskey ordeal. awbarn may be jealous of bama, but everything in that post is true.Rebchuck18 wrote:Most of that is just jealousy from Auburn. Haters gonna hate .......................AND CHEATERS GONNA CHEAT!!!!! Dang right they're cheating.Probably with those dang refs too. Holding could have been called on multiple plays and that spot when it should have been a touchback....unreal!
