If we are honest with ourselves, we will acknowledge that we will be 3-4 after this upcoming week. With that being said, has your W/L expectation changed for this year? For example, if you thought we would win 8, do you still think that? I thought we would win 8....and now I don't see how we can. We will beat troy , Idaho, and probably Arkansas. That will give us 6 wins. Where do the other wins come from? We still have state and Missouri, who will have James Franklin back by then. We all know too well that beating state in Starkville only happens once in blue moon, so we can't count that as a win. With that being said, I think we only have one more sec win in us, and we finish a disappointing 6-6.

Franklin is supposedly out for the year. We will likely be favored in every game except LSU

3-3 is exactly where I had us other than I thought we would lose to Texas and beat auburn. I had us finishing 7-5 with possibly 8 after a bowl. I think we win the two non conference and Arkansas and now with Franklin out Missouri is definitely a good chance for number 7. So I still stick by my prediction with maybe 8 at Stankvegas. However, we could be 5-1 right now and should be. But I still see at least 7.

An old song comes to mind...

That is what sucks so bad... You know you are about to lose, you just dont know exactly how... Beat Idaho, Troy, and Missouri... The Egg Bowl will be a toss up, and will depend on who is healthiest...

I originally had us 9-3, but 8-4 is certainly reachable.

I still think we'll win out after LSU, and we could get lucky and bet them. Last night was hard, long trip back to Southaven. Couldn't help but get mad about the no calls. A&M is good enough, they don't need any help.

I agree with Jim because of who we play. Mizzou without Franklin is a lesser team, Arky is not good and State is State

Jim and I agree more often than you guys think. Great minds don't always have to think alike! How boring would that be. 8-)

If we play like we did this Saturday, you're darn right we can beat LSU. Eliminate mistakes, play with passion (which no one can say we didn't), and we can pull off our first signature win. Will we? Doubt it, but then I really didn't expect us to hang with A&M either.
Play like we did Saturday, get a few breaks... who knows? I'm sure I'll be hoarse again this weekend.
I say it's going to be a close call again. Don't know how my heart will take it, but that's my forcast. We win or lose in the waning minutes...

I would totally agree if we weren't racked with injuries on the defensive side. These next couple of games are going to be a struggle, IMO.
