Yeah, you would have to think that shot percentage is pretty low......the few games I have see I noticed he is lofting shots further and further out, making them only encourages it....

With 32 on the shot clock...

There are 3 circumstances that justify that shot selection. Less than 4 in the shot clock. Less than 5 on the play clock. Less than. Two minutes and down by more than 5.

And yet without Marshall we aren't a very good team. He has bailed is out numerous times this season and has won a few for us this year . Also, we probably wouldn't have made it to the tournament without his heroics last season .

Totally disagree. With MH having that kind of range, it forces the other team to guard him way out there. He's passing the ball a lot more this season, credit AK coaching, and being more of a team player. MH can make the shots from that far off. If u had gone to any games, which I doubt, u would see MH making shot after shot from that far off during warmups. He doesn't shoot that far out hardly ever. But can definitely make it from there.

Agreed Jim. Some of you guys seem to hate MH no matter what. We would not have the wins, this year or last without him. I don't care for his antics either, but he can play ball. I'm glad he's on OUR side.

Whoa....where did I say I hate Henderson....I just merely pointed out jacking from that distance has to be a low percentage shot.....is there any data otherwise, I would love to see it.....

Low percentage shots + good rebounding team = something that can work out well

Low percentage shots + poor rebounding team = potential disaster

I agree he is playing a lot better team ball as he was by the latter part of lat season. He will fake you off with a move that makes you think he's getting ready to shoot then dump it off to whoever is under the board. He also seems to shoot much better the harder he is being guarded!

Marshall Henderson is a good basketball player. He has great range.

Is it good that he can make shots from that far out? Yes.
Is it good that our offense is settling for a shot that far out? No. (I don't know if we are or not, but it's not good if we are)

Sorry! Not actually referring to you. There are many on here that don't like the guy.
