If any other coach in a major sport made the following comment after underachieving so badly, he would be eaten alive on this board.

“I’m really at a loss,” Kennedy said. “You’d be amazed at the e-mails I get. People ask, ‘Do you guys do block-out drills?’ Actually, I’ve coached a few hundred games. I realize what the problem is. My problem is I can’t do much about it right now. I’m going to work on that.”

Not supporting or defending AK but I read that as I have tried to coach them and they don’t/can’t do it and I can only recruit someone that can next year.
