Escaped versus Georgia and 'Bama last year and, unfortunately, Ole Miss this year. Does my heart good to see their fan base suffer a gut-wrenching loss at the last second. Although I'm thankful no one got injured the way Treadwell did. The formula for us to win the West is still in place. Could continue tonight if LSU beats 'Bama. Then either Georgia or Bama beat Auburn. 'Bama beats State. And Arkansas or A & M beats LSU. All this requires us to win out. But can you think of a better tonic to what happened to us last week? That is--taking care of business against Presbyterian and then watching Auburn's stretch of miracle wins come to an end. Suck it up, Barners!

If we win out, we will still have accomplished one helluva lot this season. It will mean that we have won 10 games regular season in the toughest division of the toughest conference in the nation; won the Egg Bowl; have either won the West and will go to Atlanta and possibly the playoffs or will go to one of the New Year's Day Group of Six Bowls. In Freeze's third season. We will have a seasoned team coming back and a great competition between Kincaid and Buchanan and others for the QB spot. We will have accomplished national relevance all season and will continue to be a household word in the recruiting game.
I think we will win a national title under CHF at some point.

I hope you're right. I really think this year was our best shot though. Bama will have their QB dialed in well next year, and everyone will keep getting tougher. Freeze is learning though, so we will Keri getting better. Just need a solid O-line coach.Titles 'R Us wrote:If we win out, we will still have accomplished one helluva lot this season. I don't agree that this year was our best shot. It was the first of many shots we will have under CHF. His philosophy is that Ole Miss is not defined by other programs. He means it. He will continue to recruit well, and I have no quarrel with any of our coaches. We will be a player every year.
