Warren Nolan has Ole Miss with the #1 RPI after the tight UCF series. #2 SOS. Reason is because all the teams we've played have RPI in the Top 40--yes, even William & Mary. Wright State just took two out of three from a ranked Miami team there. Arkansas State continues to win and has a Top Twenty RPI. UCF in the Top Thirty. Bianco is trying to find the right lineup, but he's doing it playing some really tough teams. I think we'll win our fair share in the SEC and surprise some people, just as we did last year.

I posted much the same on a couple of other boards. Got a yawn from most.
We have played one of the toughest schedules so far. And we're beginning to hit a bit. Pitching is coming around.
It's nice to be #1 in something.
I only like helmeted sports, hockey, baseball, football, war.

I'll tell you what, though. I am way sick of this cold weather. I'm all for moving the start of the baseball season to at least mid-March or even later than that. Far less cancellations and postponements, and then the CWS could take place around the Fourth of July. Fireworks, etc.
