Memphis Game Thread

Looked really good early... Scored on some early trick stuff, but have not looked right since middle of the first... Defense has to get off the field on 3rd and medium to long... Just gave up a 3rd and 16 backed up on their own 9... Missed a tackle that would have gotten us off the field... Memphis was driving, WR gave us one off a drop... Need to turn this into points to get some momentum back... Really have not liked our play calls 2nd half.. We are bouncing in and out of formations to run 1 play.. At some point we just have to be who we are and it be good enough.. If we are having to get cute to move it against Memphis, we are in trouble.. Kelly has missed on some easy ones and is throwing off his back foot... Penalties are starting to hurt...

P.S. RN smashes his head off the turf on a 3rd and 1 carry.. Checking him for concussion...

Our Oline sucks.
We are SO over-rated because of this. We have no rhythm anywhere on the field.
Sickening effort against a horrible team.

2. Had them long yardage but roughed the passer...
3. Touchdown 2 plays later...

I agree except Memphis isnt horrible.. Justin Fuente knows what he is doing.. Sadly, Memphis looks like the better coached team right now... Dropping balls, stupid penalties.. Wake up!

Has Hugh lost his edge? Some REALLY questionable play call have me wondering. We've lost our best player for God knows how long! Pray it's not a concussion! Sitting in the freaking lead again. Going for it in easy FG range, and what a crappy 4th down call! Let Kelly throw it down field and okay HIS game. We run way too much our offense.

Thunder is right! Memphis is horrible. They would be a .500 or worse team in the SEC. This is on Hugh!

We cannot run PERIOD! Hugh should know this by now! We can pass though, and can move the ball effectively passing! We should pass almost every freaking play, but Hugh won't let him!

Everybody is *beep* but Memphis is not horrible... They do not have the talent we have, but are extremely well coached and execute at a high level.. There is no excuse for what we are doing offensively... Its pathetic...

Offense sucks all the sudden. Defense is showing that they can't compete with any type of offense. Nothing doing. Will take another team in the second half to win this game.

So many positions showing signs of problems. Freeze showing that he still has a long way to go. Fingers crossed.

Memphis has a roster filled with players that weren't good enough to play in the SEC, ACC, Big 10, Big 12, or any other conference. They must certainly are subpar!
