It's difficult to see how most of these violations (secondary) won't be dismissed as having already been settled. Bjork made a poor hire with the women's basketball coach who came aboard and immediately tried to cut corners. But Bjork fired him quickly, and there were some self-imposed sanctions for women's basketball. The track coach was also fired for whatever violations he was committing. We worked with the NCAA on Tunsil's suspension for his careless activities that had nothing to do with his recruitment. And the NCAA has already given David Saunders an eight-year show cause for his academic fraud activities at ULL. He was let go when this was discovered here. Nutt saying that Ole Miss is 'deflecting' doesn't hold water, since he hired Saunders.

Our rivals keep screaming that we're paying players outright and that no sane kid would come to Ole Miss when he could go elsewhere. But that's a combination of fear and paranoia. Paul Finebaum, of all people, has gone to bat for us on his show, saying that he can vouch for Freeze's character and believes him when he says that there's nothing new to see here. I know the State people are hoping for something drastic to be imposed on us, since they are stuck with Mullen who can't wait to get out of the StarkPen. But I don't see it happening.

We offered a butt load of money to Rashan Gary and he chose Michigan. What does that say about Michigan? The Michigan idiots are trying to justify it by touting their academic prestige. That's BS, that kid will never graduate unless he can do it in 3 years.

Jeffrey Simmons pulled a stunner and State didn't pay him? I mean, why would he choose State if we are offering him so much money?

I'm tired of it.

I'm hearing Simmons had 80,000 reasons to sign with state. His HS coach may have a job at state next year. Or his mother.

Well that's how Nutt got Mitch Mustain and we did hire Patterson's brother. That's all within the rules

I'm not complaining about any of it. But, other teams' fans need to stop with the cheating crap. Glass houses and all. Especially the one down the road in Stankville after the Simmons thing.

Envy will always exist down there. Only intelligent thinking will separate it from envy and thus the results for MSU is envy. If you have visited the land that fun forgot, you will understand that they would love to be up north of there. I have been there, seen it, and will not return to that place. too sad to see such a waste multiplying.
