Yep. It's frustrating, but we still have a great shot at hosting. Coming up are five winnable games: Murray State, Memphis State and three against Auburn. We did not take a big hit losing 2 of 3 at Tuscaloosa. Our RPI is 6 and our SOS is 7. Meanwhile, the SEC continues to cannibalize itself. State got swept and dropped to #16 RPI. Georgia took two of three from South Carolina and dropped to #4. A & M rose to #5. Vandy lost two of three at home to Kentucky and dropped to #11. LSU is at #14. The polls aren't a big deal compared to overall record, league record, RPI and SOS.
A 5-0 week would be just what the doctor ordered. A little more plate discipline and hitting to go along with the great pitching.
