Here we are . It's been the worst off season for the Rebels since the billy brewer days . The NCAA stuff isn't going away soon and unfortunately we will hear about it multiple times each game . The only way to get past it is to win and keep winning . If we lose then all they'll say is " the NCAA stuff is distracting them." That said , I don't think our young secondary and offensive line are ready for a test like this . We will score some points but struggle tackling their guys in the open field and cook will break a few long ones . Their qb will have a methodical game and finish around 20-27 for 250 yards , two tds and an interception / fumble . I also could see us winning this game . Anything could happen. Unfortunately I could also see them blowing us out somewhere around 38-14 or something . It just depends on how focused and committed we are .

Noles: 34

Rebs: 24

Noles score a td with a few minutes left with a 3 point lead to win by 10.

You still feeling like we lose this game even though our offense put 40 points on Bama last time we played? You really think FL St. D is better than Bama last year?

If we expect to make a run at the SEC West or think the SEC is the best league in college football how can we not think OM will win. Are there those among us who think FSU could compete for the SEC championship. OM has beaten the best college team in the nation two years running. They are capable of beating anyone on any given day. The ongoing NCAA thing should promote a us vs them mentality. I'm saying 31-24 OM. I don't want to believe they will score 24 against our defense but that is what I'm predicting. If we play we are supposed to win this one. The competition we will play against in conference will grind us down if we cannot play with FSU.

FSU gets a late TD to make it look closer than it actually is.

Very hard one to predict. Anxious to see how both teams come out the gate. I'll go with the good guys.

That was last years team Hagar . You can't rely on last years results and if you consider the fact that Francois is a spitter lighting it up and we have a young secondary it will be a long day for our defense . Yes , we absolutely will have to score in the upper 30s or lower 40s to win this game . Florida state will score over 30 points , book it . They are without a doubt a playoff team and it will take a monumental performance from us to win this game .

You do see those Dates besides the injuries don't you... granted those are last years p[layers but usually Freshmen don't have monster games in their first outings.

I remember sitting in Section A up at the top talking to "The Captain". Game 1 of the Freeze era against Central Arkansas and he was telling me about Freeze thinking it would be year 2 before we went bowling. Here we are 5 years later with a realistic shot to beat a playoff contender!!!
