Rebs get the sweep with an 8-6 win after some 9th inning drama.

Had a feeling this team would be good but didn't think we would start this hot with the schedule we've played so far. The dreaded Memphis midweek matchup next. Can't lose this one.

Re: Tiger High. Arkansas State has come in here from time to time and upset us in midweek games. Southern and Memphis State always want to do the same thing. But I don't see that happening this year. Our freshmen are on fire to show they are the real thing. However, I am wondering if the game is going to be played with rain predicted all day. Could be rescheduled. We absolutely crushed Arkansas State, and they have a good team this year. In years past we sometimes didn't have the backup talent to win as many midweek games as we should. I don't think that is going to be an issue this year.

My favorite part of living here in Oxford now is being able to go to baseball games. I think this team is legit. The pitchers are studs...kid at first is already good with a shot at being great...and Bortles finally got his bat going this weekend. Gonna be a fun year.

Was afraid of this. Pitching was terrible tonight and also made some bad errors. *there goes a home run as I'm posting* I hate losing to this team. Need a bottom 9 rally...top of order due up.

Well, these games happen. It's a part of the game and honestly, it makes you better. But, yea it sucks to lose to Memphis. It's their World Series and our polish up game so whatever!

Well I mean yeah, if you consider a loss to a top 10 RPI team "embarrassing" and "stupid".

4 errors, 4 hit batters, 2 walks... That is 10 unforced errors... You can't beat the school for the blind with 10 unforced errors.. They will either learn from it, or it will continue to happen.
