McArthur has pitched a gem and the offense showed up tonight. Rowe, Bortles (twice) and Blackman have all gone deep. 9-1 in the 9th, Rebs still hitting.

Big win tonight. Have a good chance to win the series with a DH tomorrow. Hopefully we can get a split tomorrow. Good game Rebs. Arkie has been red hot. Great pitching performance by McArthur, one hit over 8 innings.

I won't get my hopes up. We have not shown we can hit the ball 2 games in a row...

4-0 Rebs after 3. Where has this team been? Game 2 just in case there's some confusion.

Same team we've seen all year....VERY streaky. We jumped out again today with a few hits in the first and 3 runs, maybe 4, but have been cold since. If we can find just decent consistency from the bats, the pitching could carry them in the post season. We are deeper than most other teams from starters to bullpen.

Anyone know if the doubleheader is 7 or 9 innings?

Rebs take Game 2 by a score of 4-1. Arky got a solo shot in the 5th ( I think), but that was all they can do. Another great game by the pitching staff, and the offense did what it needed to do. Hey, let's go get a SWEEP here in few!

The first game of the DH was 9 innings, would assume the 2nd would be to.

It's been said plenty of times by the guys that cover the baseball team in depth

Despite the start, once scouting reports came out on these young guys, they would struggle through the middle of the season and maybe longer. Are they coming out of it now? Who knows?

But, let's fire Bianco. Meanwhile praise Kennedy for a good team that we are still saying needed to 'gel' with 2 freaking weeks left in the regular season.
That team SHOULD'VE made the tournament. But didn't. And Bianco will get in AGAIN, but let's fire him. Beyond stupidity at this point.

The decision to move Fortes to first and put Cooper back behind the plate was a homerun and really strengthened our D.
