Kinda shows how crooked college basketball is, and what AK is up against. Since we don't have the big boosters in basketball, makes it hard getting top players here. Maybe the NCAA will get burned with this. Pitino and Pearl are finished imo. Hoping state gets swept up in this. Louisville may get the DP in basketball. Hope this also brings down the CROOKED ncaa. And again, hope state gets caught up in this.

Pitino releases statement thru his lawyer, not the university. Admits to nothing, implies his program is the victim of unscrupulous figures. Claims no knowledge of any wrongdoing. His lawyer said if Louisville fired him it would be a very tragic mistake.

Nike has now been subpoenaed, the landscape of college hoops is now a nuclear mushroom cloud. Not worried about us, but maybe the field will now be more leveled.
