Denial? I disagree. The guy knows how to coach. Texas is a tough place to coach. From the outside looking in, it’s easy. Similar to the things you named but I watched a video with Mack brown a while back talking about how it’s a lot tougher place to coach than what it seems. He didn’t come into the best situation and changed the culture at Texas.
