Hearing we have talked a lot with Kermit Davis, the MTSU Coach and have shown interest in Thad Metta. In my opinion we should be throwing everything at Metta. His record speaks for itself. Would be a huge splash hire and a proven tourney coach.

The drawback with Metta is his health. How is it????? There was a reason Ohio St. let him go. Keith Easterwood is on a tiger high board is saying it would be a mistake for tiger high to hire Penny if Tubby is fired. He didn't elaborate, just said it would be a mistake. But if Metta's health is ok, he'd be a good one.

Matta would be a no brainer but I was told it was only rumor. It would be nice to have him in Oxford, I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Ben Garrett is tweeting that Matta was/is in Oxford today. This would be a huge hire.
