Lost 3-2... Double header tomorrow.. Breaking ball pitcher completely dominated. Best chance to win this game was a bases loaded double play, like in the first... This baseball team is 30-9, but 8-8 in league play.. We are average.. I hate to say it, and I hope we start playing better, but we are on our way to losing our 3rd series in a row, this one at home.. We are not putting it together like earlier in the year.. Need to play with some guts tomorrow. Looked like a national seed, now we look like we will be on the road to a regional, makes no sense.. Come on MB, earn your check and coach em up!

Agree totally...coach them up
You hit it. Average team will have a losing SEC record after tomorrow. We played a soft out of conference schedule and that helped. But this doesn’t look like a team that play with the big boys. Just not there yet. Maybe it’s youth or maybe they just aren’t as good as we all thought. But we all shoulda known this collapse was coming when we couldn’t beat state.
Foward Rebels! March to Fame!
I agree with everyone how we’ve looked the last 3 weeks but this IS a good team. I don’t care what schedule we’ve played, they’re good. Look at the Arkansas series for proof. Baseball is a game of momentum and streaks. Unfortubatey, we’re on the bad side of one now. Let’s see if we can turn it around.Chucky_38 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 20, 2018 10:05 pm You hit it. Ole Miss wins 5-2. Big series win and good come back after giving away the first game.

Being 31-9 it sounds odd, but today really was a must win. Nice job of bouncing back... Need to knock the cover off of it against State Tuesday in Pearl.. Rough weekend for teams ahead or even with us.. Time to come hot and start rolling.

32-9.....this team is good and has plenty of quality wins left in the bag. Not just that....they love to win. Outside of the loss at Starkpatch, I'm ok with this team and where we are.
