A lot of folks blame Bianco for a lot of things but he coached a great 8th inning when Rowe got on with a pass ball strike and put a sub base runner for Rowe. Gave Kessinger a chance and he came through with a double to score the runner from first to take the lead. That maybe luck or just plain good coaching. I take the latter. I get critical of MB at times but he deserves kudos when he makes a good move, like Roth to pitch the last out in the 9th. Now to wrap this up tomorrow.

Holy crow that was intense. I’m scared as poop to play TTech again.

Agree... I wanted to see Stokes not Holston. That would be my only gripe, but he knows his pitchers better..

Tennessee Tech up 2-1 in the 7th.. Would not hurt my feelings at all for Missouri State to tie it up and then they play about 20 innings..

Tennessee Tech got a complete game out of their pitcher and won 2-1. Missouri State was just awful at the plate and got dominated. We better bring the bats tomorrow. Did not put together a lot of at bats today. Tennessee Tech won't have long to rest up, less than 12 hours before they play us again.

P.S. Texas advanced with a 3-2 win over Indiana. Bases loaded 1 out for Indiana and they got nothing going. Helped by the home plate ump on one of the worst calls I've ever seen. He was feeding off the crowd. That guy needs to come to Oxford next weekend, IF we can handle business tomorrow.

What is this with walking the lead off batter every inning?

Was wanting it to be Stokes, but we are about to use Stokes. I am sick of us making Ohio Valley pitchers look like Cy Young award winners. Smash them around!
