I will begin by apologizing for being a math geek. A w-l of 5-10 is 0.333. It says that you have won 5 of 15 games and lost the other 10. A w-L of 1-4 is 0.200. It means that you have played five games and won 1, losing the other 4.catfishboy wrote: ↑Wed Jun 06, 2018 8:00 am Bianco may be a decent coach, but he just cannot get his team to perform in the post season. 2018 is a year that Ole Miss should have been appearing in Omaha. Instead the Rebels give another lack luster performance in a home Regional and lose to an Ohio Valley Conference team. Even though TTU was the top offensive team in the country, there is no excuse for the SEC Champs to not be them at home.
Fans who are in reality know that Bianco has peaked and Ole Miss will do no better than they have done in the past. There is no doubt that Bianco has made Ole Miss a baseball school, but he just cannot get the team past the playoffs that count. It is time to retire Bianco, either let him find another job or give him an admin position, and hire someone who will take Ole Miss to Omaha. There is no excuse for the loss of the 2018 Oxford Regional, except extreme lack of focus.
Bianco Team Stats:
18 seasons
15 Regionals W-L: (5-10) .833 to participate, .500 to win if participating
5 Super Regionals W-L: (1-4) .278 to participate, .250 to win if participating
1 CWS Appearance .056 to participate, .000 to win if participating
0 National Titles .000
2 SEC Tournament Champs .111

I really do appreciate him for building this program to what it is. I say name the stadium after him, but he needs to accept a job in administration to ride off into retirement.
Considering we made the post-season 4 times in the 29 years before he was hired and he should be fired. And we made the NCAA tourney 5 times in the TEN years before AK was hired. And what they both did after being hired. This is all dumb.JustBlues wrote: ↑Wed Jun 06, 2018 8:06 amI will begin by apologizing for being a math geek. A w-l of 5-10 is 0.333. Don't worry, the under achieving Banco will be back next year, with a raise and extension. And we will be watching from home once the supers roll around. With the facilities and fan base, we should be one of the top programs in the country. A change is WAY OVERDUE.lewindha wrote: ↑Mon Jun 11, 2018 2:11 pmConsidering we made the post-season 4 times in the 29 years before he was hired and he should be fired. u can never judge a book by how it chews its food
I get it. So the past doesn't matter, unless it does? So I always called dumb for not 'understanding' how bad our basketball program's history is, but the baseball program's history doesn't matter?rebeljim wrote: ↑Mon Jun 11, 2018 4:20 pmDon't worry, the under achieving Banco will be back next year, with a raise and extension.
